All applicants for the Mental Health Targeted Case Manager position are required to complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, in accordance with House Bill 531 (2025).


As of January 1, 2026, this screening is mandatory for employment in this role.

We currently have available positions for Targeted Case Managers in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.

Responsibilities

Targeted Case Managers are responsible for managing a caseload of children or adults by linking, coordinating and monitoring needed services. Targeted Case Managers will conduct diverse assessment tools throughout the individual's participation in the program, and serve as an advocate for the individual served. 

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
​Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major course work includes the study of human behavior and development); and have a minimum of one year of full time or equivalent experience.
